Daddy Slow Flow

Lucky Thulani Gwala (aka Daddy Slow Flow) is an an up and coming South African hip hop artist who fuses different sounds that caters for everyone who loves good music. Diverse styles such as trap soul, deep rap, trap, conscious rap, kasi rap, etc. all find a home in his music.

Slow Flow was born in Durban Kwan-Zulu natal, and started to take his rap music career serious at the age of 13. He studied sound engineering, music business and video and film production at the Vaal technology institute in 2009 after recognizing his passion of music.

Daddy Slow Flow believes "you will never get help from the familiar faces" so he decided to change the province, he then decided to move to Johannesburg and studied at the university of Johannesburg (entrepreneurship management) where he met a fellow hustler Abraham Sibango better, known as Black L, and formed a duo called baby gang. 

What makes Daddy Slow Flow stays relevant is the fact that he doesn't just do hip hop but he is spreading awareness hence why they labeled him  "the Voice Of the People" - he delivers messages and give sight to those who were born bling and perfect; those who were born to die. He is a hustler and a go getter and doesn't stop - he chases after his dreams and believes that he is in his own lane, competing with nobody besides himself.
