Davina, who started SOUL SOLO in 2005, provides solo harp music as well as voice accompaniment if desired for weddings, receptions, banquets, birthdays, dinners, launches, cocktail parties and corporate events.

Being a songwriter and having composed a lot of her own music on the harp, Davina will add a unique and personal touch to your event, letting the atmosphere inspire her with new melodies. Her beautiful David concert harp is the only one of this make in South Africa and is sure to add elegance and beauty to any setting and wedding venue. Davina has been a harpist for 30 years, having taken private harp lessons for 11 years in Switzerland, where she grew up. 

She is also a singer and has written many songs, including love songs in French and in English. The songs are very popular as items during wedding ceremonies. Davina has a repertoire of classical pieces, contemporary love songs, hymns and church music. She particularly enjoys playing Celtic music as well as her own compositions. With enough advance notice, she can learn a particular piece you might like her to play, if it is suited for the harp.
