Jacquie started her career in the early 90's as part of an all-girl duo "MELK". After competing in Big Brother II (2002) the duo split and Jacquie started working in the film industry, although music remained her nr 1 passion. She has played with different bands, performing at venues like Sun City, Caledon Casino, The V&A Waterfront (Cape Town) and various smaller venues across the country. She has a wide range in music taste, therefore her repertoire includes hits from the 60's till latest dance numbers. A favourite remains 80's pop/rock.

In 2013 she founded Girls of Rock, the Tribute. This show pays homage to the women icons of the 70's and 80's: Bonnie Tyler, Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett, Suzi Quatro, Juice Newton, Heart, Cher, Kim Carnes and local girl band Clout. Shows are dynamic with a variety of styles, although her focus always remains on the audiences' vibe.

Jacquie lives in Mpumalanga where she also writes scripts and directs/shoots music video's etc.
