Joel Benjamin

Saxophonist Joel Benjamin is a member of the SA Army band in Cape Town, and used to be employed by the SA Navy band (Cape Town).  With a Licentiate qualification from the Trinity College London, Joel has performed as soloist at countless weddings, dinners, corporate functions, etc.  He performs acoustically or with backing tracks, playing a range of songs and styles including Jazz standards and favourites, more contemporary pop songs, and some Kenny G inspired numbers!

Apart from performing solo and with military bands, Joel plays on an ad hoc basis with various dance bands, big bands, pop, latin, and jazz bands.
