LED visual lights are a new form of entertainment in South Africa – and the world. They are LED lights that a performer spins around, creating words and photos that you can see and read. This has changed the corporate entertainment environment in the sense that a company can have their logo made visual in a unique way.

There are various names for this new technology, among the more common are logo lights, visual poi, graphic poi and pixel poi. Visual poi began in about 2013 as a very low quality image displayer on short LED sticks of about 24 pixels each side. These display beautiful patterns, but not the best when it comes to the more intricate photos and text. Today’s high resolution LED Visual Poi are available in 160 HD each side. Spotlight Entertainment uses the latest technology that displays images crisp and clear.

These light sticks are only experienced properly live as they require specialised video equipment to capture what the naked eye sees. LED logo lights can be used for birthday parties, corporate events, product launches, club shows and more. Text, images and logos are pre-programmed into the devices and checked before performances. Only professional fire and light dancers are hired to make the magic come alive
