Biography

Melorie Jane is a jazz pianist, vocalist and songwriter. She released her debut single and music video in 2017 called ‘Till the morning comes, which is currently available on ITunes and Google play.

She regularly performs as an artist or session musician. Her style is versatile and reaches from contemporary jazz, soul, swing, blues and Latin to funk.

Her jazz quartet, ALL the MORE is an original, contemporary jazz band based in Pretoria, that features funk, South African Jazz, contemporary jazz and original compositions. Their vibrant energy entices young audiences although their intricate layers of nuances speaks to jazz lovers alike.

Melorie Jane graduated from the University of Pretoria, majoring in BMus Jazz Performance in 2015, being awarded a SAMRO music bursary for performance in Jazz piano.

She has shared the stage with artists such as Nic Dinnie and regularly performs at prestigious venues including the JSE, BMW Series 5 reveal and Protea Hotel Fire and Ice.
